What the canal hour feels like
This is Essential, the hour most couples start with. Extended and Premium are the same walk, longer and across more of the city.
The start
We meet at a quiet bridge
A spot you can find on a map, near a tram stop. Your photographer is already there.
The first ten minutes
Walking and talking
The camera stays mostly down while you settle in.
The middle
Three or four backdrops
Houseboats, a canal-house stoop, a bridge with bikes. We tell you where to stand.
The end
We finish near a café
The videos land on your phone that evening, the gallery follows within a week.
Beyond the canal ring
Amsterdam is the front door, not the limit. These are priced for the place and the travel time.
Spring only, when the bulbs flower. About an hour and a half of shooting in the gardens or the fields around Lisse, plus the photographer’s travel. Garden tickets are not included.
Windmills, the coast or another city. Tell us where and when, and we send a plan and a price for your dates.
A town hall ceremony, a canal-side vow, a dinner after. Tell us about your day and we send the packages.

Good to know before you book
Who can come
Couples, families with kids of any age, friends, dogs. Nobody needs experience in front of a camera.
What to bring
Comfortable shoes for cobbles and bridges, and a layer for the wind off the water. Flowers or props are welcome.
If plans change
Rain or a changed flight: we move the date for free. The deposit is refundable up to 7 days before.
Accessibility
Tell us about prams, wheelchairs or slow walkers and we keep the route short, flat and close to a tram stop.
